Justine Helps "Showered with Love"
Justine started a hygiene kit drive with her classmates for the local homeless population , prior to covid. Her family was able to donate about 50 kits with much needed hygiene necessities to a mobile shower foundation, "Showered With Love", to pass out to the homeless population that utilized the mobile showers.
She also packs Thanksgiving/Christmas food boxes with her Church to distribute to families in need. Justine enjoys helping those less fortunate in her community when she can and hopes to get back to work post-Covid.

Ziyra Overcomes Cancer and Spreads Awareness
There are so many children that get diagnosed with cancer each year & yet there is so little Awareness being spread. Of all of the funds for Cancer Research, Childhood Cancer only receives 4% of that. Ziyra was diagnosed Oct.2018 with Ependymoma, which is a rare type of brain Cancer. She underwent surgery followed by both Radiation Therapy and Chemotherapy starting from Dec.2018 - Sept.2019. As of today she is stable and shows no signs of Cancer, but there is no CURE. This means that it can come back as it pleases with no warning. Since there are no protocols or enough research in place for children they follow steps that are put in place for adults often leading them to suffer lifelong effects from the massive dosages of treatments if they do indeed survive them.

Ziyra’s Goal is to create a Platform to Spread Awareness to as many people as she can, so that one day her and other Children’s lives are worth more than 4%.
Cancer doesn’t always look same. There is not always hair loss & kids are still able to somehow smile through this terrible disease. Her family has had horrible days, but through Ziyra’s social accounts they take time to show good times as well because they matter! They matter because they don’t want more smiles & giggles to vanish. These children’s lives matter! Ziyra has hopes for her platform to be a safe space for other Cancer Children like herself while also creating the necessary dialogue with other kids & adults who can help in making a difference!

Chelsea's Charity Because of her own love of art, at Chelsea’s 10th birthday party in Yonkers, N.Y. a few months ago, she asked her guests, in lieu of gifts for herself, to bring art supplies so that she could start her charity and create art kits for children in different communities that possibly did not have access to art supplies or could use the supplies to help them through a difficult time. 👉 She collected a large bin full of supplies at her birthday party and since then, she's created an Amazon wishlist filled with art supplies. Through the power of social media, family, friends and complete strangers have used the list to purchase brand new art supplies for Chelsea to create art kits for children! She works on kits every other night with the donations and includes a note for each child in the art kits. Thus far, she’s created over 500 art kits and has distributed them or had them delivered to children living in homeless shelters in her community and to children that may have experienced a traumatic event in their lives. Most recently, Chelsea and her mom traveled to El Paso and distributed art kits to children at a local elementary school near the site of Walmart mass shooting in August 2019. Chelsea was able to teach those children a mini-art lesson and shared how much art can help them express themselves. Hopefully sharing Chelsea's story will encourage other children and let them know that they can make a difference too. She is currently preparing for a distribution in Haiti to 250 children! www.instagram.com/chelseascharity |
